<But we aren't there yet in the discussion of where ideas exist.>

Well, it's if true it's a huge clue, in that they wouldn't only be stored in the physical.

<He has tried to identify physical places (Possibly DNA or brain process)>

Brain process isn't a "place"... this is the 'mind body' question as you know. Solon made the observation that mind is 'related to' or "corresponds to" the brain, which there (seems to me) enough data to fully support. But "corresponding" isn't "equals" or "comes from".

From what I know of DNA, it's more of a 'blue print' or 'hard drive program' rather than "RAM"... ??

<Where do you think ideas exist prior to our 'discovering' them?>

I think we have to discuss 'what is an idea' first... ? It seems to me that they are NOT separate from other experiences like emotions or sensations?

To keep it moving while we think about the above... we DO know that life (through signal transduction) "reads" nature (it's surroundings) and acts on that "information". We also know that a systems information correlates to it's surface area AND that the universe is expanding.... ie. evolving... increasing it's information content. Clearly "life" has access to more and more information.
