Carroll, do you have any hope of all the US troops coming back during your lifetime?

What excuse will you come up with when another 1500 to 2000 of our troops are dead by the time Dumbya's term is completed?

If things are so nice in Iraq, please ask your regressive radio/TV loudmouths like Hail Hannity, Rush Viagra, Snakewoman Coulter et al to stay just one block outside of the Green Zone in Baghdad for one week and come back with their reports.

>>My point remains - giving running totals with maps of attacks is well within the capacities of the MSM. They don't do it. It's easier to show the latest bombing, and the pictures are sexier. Same reason the local news sends a reporter out to interview people who have just been burned out of their home, and never makes the connection between the number of fires in poor neighborhoods and the dangers of propane heaters used indoors.<<

Nadine -

If your point is only that the mainstream media do an exceptionally poor job of informing the public, then I agree. They seem to be getting worse every year, as ratings and corporate profits become the only barometers of a successful news organization.

If you are trying to imply that they do such a piss poor job because of some kind of political agenda, I think you're way off base.
