Peter, I read all of your post, but have no interest in what happens. Those that are already under the SS umbrella will not be affected, IMO. The aim seems to be at the Baby Boomers, and I do hope they have a way to stay above water and make it through their later years. None of this would be happening if FDR had not promised America security from the cradle to the grave. Before that, families knew how to save some money back every producing year to take care of the old folks in that family. Nobody had their hand out for a government dole. That was really America, and not what the nation has become.
