Well, I guess we could dance around the definition of torture. The administration says that unless the person had broken bones or wounds that leave permanent scars, that's not torture.

90% of US senators disagree, but 10% is a respectable number.

So we can dispute what Stevens means at p. 51 when he says that these tribunals allowed the use of evidence obtained through coercion.

Coerced evidence is not OK.
