Legitimate accusations ARE news. That's not the same as reporting something that some Iraqi complained about to Al Jazeera. These are investigations that the military is taking seriously, which means that there is most likely something to them, even if not as bad as the worst of the accusations. As long as they are reported as accusations that the military is investigating and not as fact, I can't argue with their treatment of them.

I understand your perception of that. And I can understand why that would anger you if it's the case. I just don't know how much of the perception is real. Maybe some, I don't know. I see hints of what could be that attitude every once in a while, although not so far in this story. I suspect a lot of your perception of it in this story is seeing what you believe rather than believing what you see. Dunno.
