Right, to which I responded that NO effects have "A" cause. :)

I think the point to get back to here is that many of the difficult questions and issues facing science today are in some way non-linear in nature. This probably differs from the past ONLY in the fact that science is getting to the deeper levels of what was found out in the past (QM vs Newton). So in addition to "some effects don't have a cause", we can also say some phenomena can't be proven possible with commonly undersood and used scientific experiments, since they can't necessarily be repeated due to the chaotic (for lack of better term) non-linear nature of the 'system' within which they operate. Weather, all of biology, pollution and ecosystem investigation... and of course the much maligned anecdotes involving telepathy, OBEs, and all that would come under this "problem" if one really cared to look into it.

No applause needed... I've been providing links often, although sometimes posters seem lazy here and don't do a simple search on topics when they're not sure.
