well in regards to consciousness as with solons earlier qualifying of "intelligent creatures " experiencing vs just creatures "experiencing the rock" ....as with previous discussions not excluding the before the gumdrop of the big bang ...the discussion of consciousness should take on more relevant and quantitative meaning if kept mostly within the context of at least the higher vertebrates....

Chopra does seem to pursue some pretty marvelous stuff though in that little talk and food for thought of the subtler framework of mind perception and that of the nature experiential time ....as he relates the puzzel of the 'reality' of experience being perhaps similar to the constantly flickering fluctuations that occur on the atomic level , those "ons" and "offs " and that for solving a deeper mystery of our own perception , flawed if you will by thinking we are seeing a coninuous stream , when we are in fact missing that consciousness that exists between the pauses and the waves & "flickering photons." ;)

Intriguing to think of the Universe as a "discontinuity" ? But he makes excellent points regarding the need to pause and see who the experiencer really is , and what is the "persistant illusion"...and time not necessarily 'continuous " for the human mind .
