Hi Michael...I think the people who are so keen on blaming the military have either

a) NEVER been in the Military themselves, and have no real idea of what has been instilled into their being as proper procedures/ethics/military code, etc. or

b) NEVER have been a close family member or friend to one who has served in the Military.

Sure, there are some bad apples who make it through the system, but when one compares the Military to the people in a n average city of the same size as the group of Military folks they are discussing, my guess is that there is a MUCH higher percentage of screw-up type folks in the average city, than in the military.

The folks who say differently are evidently not looking around their own cities to see how many people are murdered, raped, assaulted, robbed, and all the other crimes that happen. It would be interesting to compare the numbers, wouldn't it?
