<<Here's the sub-human they're protecting, at risk to their own lives, and the lives of their fellow Americans all over Iraq.

I don't see how it could possibly be worth it.>>

Like you I would have turned him in before he could commit the crime but there is a special bond between men who can save each other's lives like in combat or the police. OTOH I couldn't trust such a person to watch my back.

I thought you defended people until they were PROVEN guilty. Sounds like you are willing to throw this guy away right now....!
You noted: Here's the sub-human they're protecting, at risk to their own lives, and the lives of their fellow Americans all over Iraq.

Well, I'm for tossing Saddam to the alligators as well...or whatever is in the desert that might provide a slow painful death. Or maybe someone would be glad to resurrect the "chopper/grinder" Saddam used several times on humans. It would be cheaper not to have a trial, wouldn't it? But I KNOW you wouldn't approve, would you?

So how can you say this guy is a "sub-human" until you know he is proven guilty?

The Military had already discharged him, before knowledge of this situation....He evidently has a personality disorder.

Are you ready to kill him for that right away? Or should we wait for a trial????

Yeah, that's what I thought you would say.

So would I.

BTW, your picture didn't have a link, but when I clicked on it, it shows it was from here. However, there is nothing in the paper where that article and picture exists.

Do you know when that article was in the paper, and was it this one?

Too late to edit my last (it's 8:55PM here, so 11:55 EDT)..BUT did find this:

Ahhhhhhh, I see ...The article was printed in the San Jose Mercury News, but Melissa Manware who wrote the article is from the Charlotte Observer...and San Jose paper picked up.

>>>>Former Army soldier Steven D. Green is currently being held in the Mecklenberg Co, jail in Charlotte.<<<<<

Wonder when he was first diagnosed with a personality disorder?

It sure would have been great if the folks in various courts could have diagnosed Ted Bundy before he committed all the crimes he did....

But they didn't, and he continued killing.

So it will be interesting to see what's wrong with this guy.
