The problem IMO being, that if you start with taxes on "obscene corporate pay checks" only, first of all one needs to define what that is. A say $200k limit for that would have a tendency of remaining firm for a long time after this could still be considered obscene. Next this would only open the dams for more from the same tool box, which definitely is a predominant part of socialistic thinking. I know you are no lib or socialist at heart and thus already suspected you may not stand fully behind (all of) the items of same post ;) Taro
