I hope you're right Russ, but I have this sick feeling that the gop miraculously pulls out enough victories to maintain their majority in the house and senate.

Bush stole both elections and I feel that they are likely to do it again.

... it's funny what can happen between the ballot box and the winner's circle...

... and now with Reverend Diebold on the job, "democracy" has become less messy and more orderly... more predictable... somehow more correct.

Here in the land of Katherine Harris, I speak with some small experience.

... and if the right and proper outcome cannot be finessed -- for the good of all -- we can always engineer another 9/11, and re-sensitize the population to its utter dependence on our paternal, fearless, imperial president to protect them against the evil that surrounds them...

... for that matter, the November election may need postponed -- or is it really necessary at all?
