Sounds to me as though that occurred at a PUBLIC event and not so sure it was fireworks related. Some dummy may have brought a stick of dynamite. I know when I was a child the best fireworks I ever saw was in Carbon, Pa. Miners area and they used to set off sticks of dynamite all around the crowed while the grand finale was going off. Course those were miners and experienced handling dynamite. jdn
