Have you given any thought to how many trillions of dollars were spent in the cold war in order to get that Berlin Wall to fall? How about all the lives lost behind the scenes of the cold war or the enemies we created to fight the USSR in Afghanistan? The Islamofascists do not want to destroy us because of what we have done only because of who we are. You might want to think how peaceful the world was in the 1950's etc. Peace was not so kind for all the dictators we have sponsored just because they aligned with us instead of the USSR. Think about Iran, Iraq, Philippines, etc. Most educated Middle Easterners? Give me a break how the hell would you know. Who do you think is supporting all these terrorists so that these educated people can remain in their power structure? We have been in the middle easterners affairs for the last 100 years, the only hope of exiting without chaos happens when we leave representative democracy behind.

All presidents are open to impeachment. Clinton crossed the line and was impeached. Bush is just doing his job. if Clinton was fair bait for impeachment, so is Bush.

I believe that the battle for freedom will not be won by force and occupation. It will be won by patience and example. Witness the tearing down of the Berlin wall. Ah, but the Berlin wall was erected when? The late 1940's? How long has Islam been around, and how long has Islam had it a principal tenent to convert the unbelievers (you and me among them)??? How's the pod doing?

I must reject the premise of every argument you make in this post. Every point you make reveals a very superficial understanding of history, the law and of current events. We must deal with the realities that are, not the ones you wish them to be. The only effective way to deal with evil is to give the people a viable alternative to their present circumstances. Hoping things will get better is not a plan that will result in a positive change. I wish you luck in your efforts to find enough like minded people to bring about the changes you so desire. Miserable people generally like the company of other miserable people. Be assured that there is a great host of people in this country that recognize your philosophy on life for what it is and will work diligently to insure that it never has a chance to become the guiding philosophy of the land.
