WMT has to buy positive publicity but it won't help their negative image. They've been slowly destroying smalltown USA for past 2 decades. Consumers have finally connected the dots. They now realize WMT ruthlessly pressures American mfgrs and thereby forces millions of jobs to be offshored to China. Communities panic whenever Wmt execs show interest in their area. Many workers cannot afford even a family car with Wmt's shameful wages, and are guided by the co to apply for gov handouts. In addition Wmt encourages contractors to hire illegal laborers, and then pretends ignorance if immigration laws are enforced.
Sold my shares of Wmt yrs ago...that company is literally transforming smalltown USA into 3rd world status.

Walmart and Exxon's PR campaigns are a disgrace. Using money they milk from us to lie to us about what their company is about. In fact, every time you see a mega corporation putting out feel-good PR image ads, you can bet that the reality is just the opposite.

Like, as is Exxon and the patroleum business wants to help us with our energy problems. They make a killing creating energy problems.
