I just don't see why anyone would fear it.

We like to think we have an homogenized society. Use to be, before we could identify smart people so well, that many of them would stay in blue collar jobs because they didn't have the money or the opportunity to get into top colleges. No longer true. If you live in "Podunk, Idaho," and you are sharp, the sky is the limit.

So we end up with smart people all living together. The sociologists are afraid it will lead to classes and class warfare.
