IMHO NK is a totally militarized state, SK is a typical democracy totally unprepared to protect itself from a determined NK attack. For one thing NK could destroy SEOUL without even leaving their territory with their long range artillery. We have today TACTICAL nuclear weapons that would not result in a plume over China not so sure about SK. I was a FO observer in artillery, I know how important it is. We cannot fight them conventionally without instituting a draft and resulting in MANY casualties, something akin to WWII. I would be opposed to that, we dont want their land, no need to try and save it. China would make a few GRUNTS but so long as we dont invade or threaten them they would be GLAD to get rid of the NK nuisance. jdn
