Very much looking forward to "A Scanner Darkly" myself. Can't wait.

Actually think it might have been better received as a straight film, not rotoscoped. I'd like it both ways but suspect it would have a wider audience not rotoscoped, but not sure.

We just saw the ad for that (A Scanner Darkly), and I decided I would rather read the story first. Animations just don't appeal to me.
HATED Eyes Wide Shut, hated it. But I haven't seen a lot of Kubrick and I guess I;m not a fan. It makes me feel sort of inferior, but what can I say.

Don't rush out and see Holy Smoke- it isn't worth it.
