The soldiers who have been charged with rape and murder might understandably have believed that since the President of the United States does not need to obey the law nor respect human rights, then neither do they need to obey the law nor respect human rights.

Then I guess the same thing can be said for any person who commits a crime in the US (or the world for that matter)..

Blame Bush.. that's ALL YOU CAN DO, isn't it??

And the military had better not be in a hurry... They'd better do a fantastic, and in-depth, investigation before they try them. Because I'm almost sure that their crime will warrant the application of the death penalty.

And if these soldiers are found guilty of the crime they are accused of, I hope they get the chair (or the firing squad). The crime is just that pre-meditated (according to current allegations) and brutal.. I don't want them in the army, nor walking the face of these planet.

And I don't think you'll find many soldiers willing to plead for their lives... They'd have disgraced the uniform, and placed the lives of every other soldier at risk from public outrage.

More likely than not, it will be worthless liberals like you trying to make a statement against Capital punishment...
