I know, but old Fitz started eight month ago, ans seen the figures coming out next week, he was right. 3:32 PM ET 7/11/06 KLA-Tencor CEO: June orders topped targets SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- KLA-Tencor Corp. , a provider of chip equipment, said Tuesday its orders for the June ended quarter topped its target that called for 10% growth over the March quarter. "We've exceeded the top end of the range," the company's chief executive officer Rick Wallace told analysts at a meeting in San Francisco. It was a "very good quarter" for the company, the CEO said. Driving orders was demand for machines that produce NAND flash and DRAM memory chips used in consumer electronics. Shares of KLA-Tencor rose nearly 7% to $42.04 in late afternoon trading.
