Right. Because it doesn't.

But I'm speaking objectively, as someone who's represented hundreds of clients in domestic cases, not subjectively.

Subjectively, if you've only experienced your own divorce, you may project your own experiences as universal.

In my experience, and the experience of other lawyers I know, male and female, the most difficult group to deal with are a group of males who join groups dedicated to the proposition that men get screwed in domestic cases, especially in custody cases. They operate under the general heading of "Fathers United."

I don't think it's true that men fare badly in custody cases, I think the primary caregiver does have an advantage in custody cases involving young children, and typically women are the primary caregiver, but men get custody all the time.

I know women who think the deck is stacked against women, too.
