you are correct on all counts. I am leaving for Euroland for 3 weeks, starting tomorrow, and do not have time to post in detail nor can I follow up on this story.

What I find most strange is the fact that LEN did not come out more aggressively to deal with this PR nightmare, if it is clearly their "fault". Under current market conditions, negative publicity is the last thing that a builder wants, regardless of merits.

A friend of mine (fund manager) has been in Florida all week, do some tire kicking on the hot spots such as West Palm Beach. So far, every phone call from him is "not good", "not good".

I am probably going to have to spend a couple of hours each day on my laptop for this vacation. Earnings season for the builders could be very interesting this qtr.
