I found it sad. The story is remarkable, but let's face it, the plight of the aborigines in Australia is a sad one, for the most part. I think you'll be glad you saw it, but it isn't one I'd watch over and over.

I read the book "Endurance" many years ago, when I was into endurance and similar type stuff. A great read. I never seen the movie though... I am sometimes let down by the movie version of what I think are great works of the written word.. "Angela's Ashes" comes to mind.. The movie never did justice to the book, a great work of art of the last century, imo, portraying the human spirit and how it can overcome anything.. If the will is there.. :) m
