These people know what is necessary. I notice they have all read or written a book or two. If only these principles were taught in all the schools of the world...

There are plenty of crazy zealots in the world, religious or not. There are scientists producing poisons, and destructive devices for no other motive than ego or profit. We are raising children to pill up in the morning and wonder why they are attracted to illegal drugs in efforts to alleviate oppressive conditions while waiting to achieve adulthood. However, we don’t paint all scientists as maniacal Dr. Moreau wannabees.

We should simply be asking whether or not we can ameliorate damage before we release every invention onto the world, but we don't.

Rabbi Hillel said something like:

Who am I?
Who am I for if I am not for my self?
What am I?
What am I if I am not for others?
