I think the moderator's job is a thankless one and we all need to remember that he is doing this as a volunteer and doing the best he can. I know its different but running the contest is sort of similar, and let me just tell you I would quickly say "take this job and shove it!" if I was getting the level of grief that Rink is currently getting (in general). In this particular case, giving him grief or blame when nearly all (if not absolutely all) of the blame lies elsewhere is simply inappropriate. I understand where you are coming from. I just think you're mad at the wrong person(s). As for Mani, he did a great job when he was around, but over the last couple years he simply hasn't been around. A lot of people (including you apparently) think that was a good style. In my opinion it wasn't so much of a style as an absence. Again, this is not a negative toward Mani, just a fact. I think the thread has fallen into a lower SNR over the same time period, and hopefully the presence of a moderator will reverse that trend. We shall see. Regards, JJ
