I also blame the abusive idiots, and the whiners who don't like to hear bad news and use excuses to get rid of the messenger, and those who cannot differentiate between slamming a company (AMD/INTC/etc) and a person. But ultimately, Rink took the job, so he bears a lot of the responsibility for allowing this kind of popularity contest "vote" to occur. A near absence of "moderation" is the ideal. People who make personally abusive posts way over the line, like mas does, and like paul and elmer did, should simply be banned. That's all that is needed, together with the "ignore" function. Freeloaders who whine that they don't have ignore should be slapped.
