The situation in Palestine, where the Arabs have been trying to exterminate the Jews for 60+ years, is totally different than what happened in your country. First of all, Israel is a separate country from the West Bank, which was part of Jordan, and Gaza, which was part of Egypt. The United Nations partitioned the area into two portions, one, which was the most better portion went to the Arabs. The other portion, or partition, which was larger but mostly desert, went to Jews. The Jews accepted their partition, and the Arabs rejected their partition and attacked the Jews, trying to murder, rape, maim and drive out ALL Jews from the area. The Arab world has been trying to murder and drive out ALL Jews from the Middle East well before Israel, and ever since.
