What are they for then?
They certainly aren't a final solution, or do you figure them to be the 'canary in a coal mine' such that when there is absolutely no other oil, the neocons can power their cars a bit longer while they finally look at an alternative.

I never said I approved of the behavior; I don't.

But you said the reserves would be empty today, and that's not true.
