I don't think it would be Kim wanting to go to war and the military being against it. I think the military would be the ones saying we can't accept all these indignaties and FORCING Kim to go to war or be overthrown.

Kim is the ultimate pragmatist, as was his father before him. I think he LOVES the staus quo and would be willing to cut back by even a dozen mercedes, but if sanctions were to hit the army or if the army felt that the country had been too dishonored, then I think ALL bets could be off.

If you ever see those OLD Generals standing in front of Kim at ceremonies with so many medals on their chests that they have a hard time standing up, then you have to wonder if they might not want to go out in a blaze of glory and just screw the "Dear Son".
