Israeli Jewish interest, yes, but not American/Christian interests. The present neocon/Zionist imposed policy alienates one billion Moslems who were once proAmerican. It also alienates many of our historical allies and goes against America's historical Christian commitment to the principles of justice and morality in international affairs(In practice, we often violated these principles in but with our new illicit affair with Zionism we do not even attempt to make a pretense at fairness, morality and justice). America's new direction has been imposed by the toxic coalition between Christian-Zionism and Judaism/Zionism. This new machiavellian direction benefits neither the American people nor the average Jewish individual. It's a perverse theological vision created by a marriage of pseudo-Christianity with Zionism and Talmudic Judaism.
