Hawk...I think the Chinese LOVE it that we spend so much time and money on N. Korea.

N. Korea is pretty much a net negative as a trading partner for China. They don't want to see 5 million N. Koreans coming into their country as refugees, but if it was because of a war they know that they'd get help from EVERYBODY, including the U.S. to pay for it.

They use N. Korea as leverage for their undervalued yuan and trade surpluses and make noises every so often about how upset they are about them to keep the U.S. in check and malleable.

The Chinese play Kim the same way they play us....
