Bush and Harper positions are the same as those taken by the G8, don't spread lies. The G8 includes Russia, France and Germany.

BTW, I complained to my local Conservative MP about Harper's position. I think that the reason Jewish people seem to get favourable treatment, outside of things like the Asper family owning the National Post, is that they are highly organized in voicing their opinions politically. In a free democracy that is their right, but other Canadians have to counterbalance what might be selfish special interests with a more logical position if we can. You may have heard that about the times Israeli Politicians tried to come to canada, and their events were disrupted by Muslim Radicals. Perhaps you heard of the Meeting in Hamilton to examine the reasons or lack thereof for the visit by the Chiefs of police to Israel to look at their crowd control measures. But maybe you didn't, because the meeting was never held, too many palestinian protestors. Israel wants to survive. The Muslims want to destroy Israel and the Jews. We as Canadians need to err always on the side of democracy, something Muslims hate with a passion, unless of course they can use it to their advantage.
