Thanks for the correction in name. I was referring to Natan Sharansky. But let us not forget that he was also a trouble maker politically. He was expelled from the Soviet Union jail and the country. The Israelis negotiated his release and accepted him in Israel "just because he was Jewish"

IMO, secularism and nations where people of a particular religious belief are superior don't tango.
