OK, another question, why is it that nobody seems to be in a hurry to stop this war... especially the US? There is backroom stuff going on here that we don't know.

Everybody but Bush and the protagonists are calling for a ceasefire; meaning they want to end the fighting. Bush isn't stopping it because Israel doesn't want to stop. Israel doesn't want to stop it because they want to immobilize BOTH Hezbollah and Lesbanon. They are hoping that the Lebanese will get mad at Hezbollah and enforce resolution 1559, the one harris currently is hot over. But remember, neocons rule Israel as well. They think only slightly better than our neocons. So their thinkin' is stinkin' up the joint and likely to backfire on them.

adding that some of Lebanon's Arab neighbors are publicly siding with the United States and Europe against Hezbollah.

Joe Biden is lying. All of the Arab countries are firmly behind Hezbollah. Perhaps Biden is attributing the opinions of a few Arab dictatorships to their people?
