Global Warming -- My plan is to buy cheap real estate 1/2 mile from the beach and 30 ft above sea level.

Science is a good magazine generally -- Sci Am has almost been ruined. But just reading these two magazines, you can hardly expect to get a decent read on that which is NOT consensus. Scientific progress is usually not a democratic thing --

I am just saying that I would encourage you to read more widely and don't think the "experts" know better than you. You don't have to be a genius to see the other side and to be thoughtful about it, imo.
