Z, I still think it's fishy that the woman who would've been responsible for typing such memos said that she did type memos stating what those memos stated, but those weren't the copies...

It's possible that the truth isn't too far from what was on the falsified memos, but it really shouldn't have mattered anyway. Everyone knows Bush served in the National Guard to escape the draft. What use was it to try and dig up even more dirt on his National Guard service?

Nevertheless, the mainstream media tried, only to have it blow up in their faces due to some overzealous people with an axe to grind. The story quickly became the memos themselves, a phenomenon that some attributed to yet another Rove conspiracy theory.
