Err.. thanks.. I think.. ;0)

I'm a pragmatist WR.. If we can produce alternative fuels, especially fuels that can be used in our current fleet of vehicles, more efficiently than buying it from monopolist, and often tyrannical, foreign suppliers, I'M ALL FOR IT.

It's an issue of NATIONAL SECURITY.

And it's an added plus if we can create a closed cycle CO2 emissions process where we're not releasing increasing amount of the gas by burning fossil fuels, where that gas has been sequestered for millions of years.

As for ADM and CAR.. the markets will dictate. If corn prices increase to the point where it impacts profitability of ethanol and biodiesels based upon that feedstock, the markets will find a cheaper and more efficient means of producing it. And nothing in their lobbying efforts will be able to stop it, IMO.
