My husbands folks lived in that area for most of their lives....father in law oversaw the reconstruction of the Stephen Rockerfeller Camp....we have pictures of it somewhere here, and of deer looking through the window. Upper Saranac Lake..... And aren't those "camps" something else? We out here in the West think of "Camps" and "Cottages" as very small.....HA! Those folks were the masters of understatement! Hubby's uncle was caretaker for one of the "Camps".....The boathouse was/is bigger than our whole house, and ours is big....<ggg>
