Iran and Lebanon both were one of the more modern progressive countries not to far back. It is a shame what the fundamentalist jihadist have done to those countries. I know many American Iranians from the time of the Shaw who would love for those lunatics to be destroyed. I think that it is not as minor as you make it out to be the denouncement. IT is a huge shift in accountability. I think we can build on it as long as this does not drag on to long. The Lebanese people are suffering right now, but they have been suffering under Hezbollah for a lot longer. Hopefully, it can achieve it's former glory and more once the inept UN finally enforces resolution #1559. Just like immigration, we don't need new rules, just enforce the ones on the books.
