That sounds like a good story for a small magazine we get called "The Good Old Days."

What great memories!! I never was too fond of fishing, but loved to be outdoors. Loved the smell of the fresh air, especially after a rain storm, or when the grass had just been mowed... Even the cold crisp icy winter air, and most of all, the fall crisp clean apple smelling air.

My Grandmother also had a special galvanized tub that she only used when we all got together. It was for Koolaid for the kids.. My favorite was raspberry and orange combined. She always put a Huge (to us then) chunk of ice in the center of the tub....and we enjoyed getting our own drinks, and liked to play with the ladle, and pour the Koolaid over the ice, again and again.... Sorta like our own miniature drink fountain...

We were much easier to entertain in those days.
