I'm a Canadian naturalized American, but still think of myself as Canadian. It is indeed a very special alliance. I've become the ham in the sandwich, in a way. I get pissed off when Canadians diss Americans, and also when Americans under-estimate the value of Canada.

Sounds like a can't win situation? No way!
