He believes, I think rightly, that the Israelis were afraid we'd learn of their plans to attack the Golan heights and attempt to force an immediate cease-fire.

I see. So being afraid to tick off the allied superpower by refusing to agree to an immediate cease-fire, they decide instead to deliberately sink one of the superpower's ships, which they knew wouldn't bother it a bit.

You want to reconsider this proposed motive for logical coherence? Because imo it hasn't got any.

Human nature thinks that anybody who hurts you does so deliberately. And that somehow Israelis never f--k up. Ain't necessarily so. In either case.

Been listening to Glenn Beck on tv. I think the guy makes some really good points, even though he needs to step up the battle of wits with his program guests. He was talking with Ahmed and Mia about the role of suicide bombers in Islam tonite. Ahmed's response was that the martyrs were Arab and not indicative of Islam. He then said that suicide bombing were not just an Islamic thing, they were typical in all societies including our own. Good point, Ahmed!! We had Columbine killers that have disgraced our country to no end. You know the difference between Americans, Jews, Christians, Europeans, and every other group of people vs. the Muslim population. We condemn our own actions. No one in this country thinks the suicide killings in Columbine was a good thing. 99.9% of all Americans would agree that was a bad thing. We wouldn't give them oil vouchers to build schools to teach other kids how to carry out cafateria massacres.

Beck missed the opportunity to demonstrate the difference between Western condemnation and Islamic congratulation for hideous acts of crime against any innocent person. In the west, suicice killers are trying to avoid punishment for the crime. In a Islamic or Arab suicide killing, the suicide bomber is encouraged to commit the act of self sacrifice by terrorist groups that are allowed to exist in the middle of ordinary society. Can you imagine what would happen if the fbi didn't sniff out the radicals in this country that would like to hurt large groups of people, as witnessed in the Oklahoma City bombings.

We have two extremes in our society which balance each other to create an equal "living field" for all people. We may hate each other with a passion, but we protect the opposing values so that everyone has a right to freedom and self expression. I enourage anyone that bothers to read this point to remember that liberals and conservatives are supposed to disagree so that our policies can evolve over time as circumstances change. The extreme left and extreme right are not destroying each other in any sense of the word. We may be getting tired of the rhetoric because of the pressure of external conflicts beyond anyone's control. However, the division of interests protects the status quo for everyone to exist.

Not so in Islam, they systematically eliminate diversity by killing their neighbors, their enemies, and anyone they can to protect their own interests. Islam is systematically devoid of human rights and every time I listen to a Muslim defend their intolerance, the truth sinks in deeper. It is comical to listen to Islamic people to listen to the rational for violence. They blame it on the Arabs, they blame the global Zionist movement against the Muslims, they blame everything except for themselves for living in such an intolerant situation. They are clearly bent on defending the tradition of Islam, no matter how many Muslims it hurts along the way. The punishment of human rights is one of the most important parts of Islamic culture. We can have all the free elections we want for new religious governments in the Middle East, buy democracy is not going to promote human rights for anyone to settle into their fundamentalist society. Someone should have told that to the 25,000 Americans that decided to go visit the homeland back in Lebanon.

Anyways, I think this guy Glenn Beck is doing a good thing with his radio show on TV. It's unbelievable that a news network like CNN would take such a position to let this guy speak his mind on one of the top tv network. It is really good to hear someone speaking out against the Islamic paradox.
He need to make two things clear - we are trying to help the Shiites in Iraq, the Sunnis in Afghanistan, AND the Jews in Israel. We are not one sided in favor of the Jews in Israel. Yes, we defend their right to protect themselves. They can handle the rest. It may be hard for the Muslims to understand, but Israel can take care of themselves. At the same time, we are doing a lot to protect Muslims from terrorism in Iraq, despite the gruesome number of attacks against the Shiites. Why does Al Quaeda keep killing in Iraq? Why does the Taliban keep killing in Afghanistan? Why are Muslims killing Hindus in India? Why doesn't that have anything to do with Zionism? Why are we trying to protect the Sunnis in Pakistan from the Hindus in India? Do we have any military presence in India? Questions may keep inviting more questions, but there is not a single reason to justify Muslim violence against innocent people abroad, in their own towns in the Middle East, or the perpetual attack against Israel.

Second, we send our criminals to . We don't support our own criminals - we send the crazy bastards to jail. We are not protect the interests of killers. Half of the US is so engaged with liberal delusion, they are afraid to defend their own interests. They hate Bush so much they protect the rights of the terrorists. Actually, this was a great point that Glenn Beck made last night. Our nation is perpetually divided by opposite interests which creates a status quo that lets everybody live.

It's great to see someone come out as brutally honest as Glenn Beck on a live news network like cnn. I think he needs to get up to speed with the name game and the identity switching of the Islamic terrorists, or are they Arab terrorists now. I think he needs to keep pinpointing the ironies of Islamic traditions for all Americans to appreciate. Education is the key to defending our interests from the fascist interests of the terrorists.

Show me a single demonstration where Muslims are protesting violence, says Glenn Beck. Doesn't the US have a strong reputation for peaceful demonstrations? Maybe we need to send Bob Dylan over to the Middle East with some cool lyrics that will inspire everyone to smoke dope and become a hippy. I guess they already have plenty of hash. What else would all the Iranians being doing with all the cool hookah bowls? So much for that idea, they sure as hell aren't filling LOL
