You know the difference between Americans, Jews, Christians, Europeans, and every other group of people vs. the Muslim population. We condemn our own actions. Some have claimed it's the difference between a "guilt" based society, and one based on "saving face". We're constantly self-analyzing and criticizing our actions while the rest of the undemocratic world is trying to avoid responsibility for the horrors created from their societies. In a Islamic or Arab suicide killing, the suicide bomber is encouraged to commit the act of self sacrifice by terrorist groups that are allowed to exist in the middle of ordinary society. One other thing. The recruitment and training of a muslim suicide bomber is very much an act of deliberate brain-washing. There receive their initial indoctrination and motivation at the mosque, but when they arrive in the target country, they are segregated and essentially prepared for death by their "handlers". They write last testaments (read quite a few of those while I was in Iraq) and then they make their video tapes telling people why they committed their act. Once these things have been accomplished, the fear of losing face and dishonoring their family and friends, as well as the impossibility of escape from their handlers effectively prevents them from backing out. They are essentially the "walking dead" awaiting the moment of final separation between body and soul. It's something right out of Jim Jones and the People's Temple. Show me a single demonstration where Muslims are protesting violence, says Glenn Beck. There are moderate and progressive Muslim voices attempting to thwart this rise in muslim militancy. But they are really outnumbered by the systemic brainwashing that serves to keep the people focused upon those "nasty jews and the Great Satan", rather than asking why the rest of the world has left them behind economically and socially.
