I assume You are living in a free country yet you offer only support for the islam radicals and even worse you place the blame for radical islam on our free societies... radical islam has been in existence for 1500 years long before the USA was created....so who is to blame for radical islam pre USA?? ....."In a free country with opportunity, secularism tends to thrive,"..... Agreed...and where in the world of islam is there a free society? maybe Turkey... ....." If the US wants to improve the situation with Syria and Iran, it should sign trade agreements with them, and with some wealth and opportunity the people will be happy to live a more US-styled way of life."..... Good grief are you ever a dreamer....you want to give the crazies even more power to create or purchase more powerful ways to murder the infidels. The islam arab countries with their oil wealth that could better the lives of their citizens....BUT muslim radical leaders can not control happy and well off citizens. Look around seventh son, Sudan, Somalia and many other countries where radical islam thrives....did the USA or western societies create the poverty there. Why has the world of islam failed to keep up with modern society? Is that also the fault of the USA? Is the USA at fault in your mind for being successful? ...."They will evolve out of their political systems themselves and throw off radical voices."...... They have had 1500 years to evolve and if anything they are going backwards. Look up some history and see how radical islam has been with the world for 1500 years...start with India and the islam hordes that invaded and murdered millions in this country.... What use to be India is today Pakistan, Bangledash and india.... thanks to the evolution of islam. ...."thus these crazy calls from neo-cons to attack them, which will only play into the hands of radical Islam.".... Radical islam IS the problem and they must be eliminated from planet Earth they must be attacked or they will only become more powerful. Radical islam live in the midst of so called moderate islam...or if you wish hide there...so what is moderate islam doing about crazy murderers living and thriving within their religion?? nothing! It is up to the free and sane world to stop radical islam which has gone on for far to long. Radical islam and islam in general are to blame here not modern societies and for anyone who lives in our free societies to actually support the enemy is IMO is also an enemy. Remember our free societies have laws to protect freedom of religion and this law is being used to kill us by radical islam....so how come islam controlled countries don't have freedom of religion????? Is that also the fault of the USA?
