"no one thinks this is a game"

Let me be the first to tell you, politics IS a game! It's a game of compromise and give and take to achieve what you think is best through dialogue and discussion for your COUNTRY.

John Adams would have liked to write the Constitution himself, but he knew that Jefferson was a better writer, so he went with what would benefit the country more over his own personal interests.

SO...are you saying that the people against Lieberman would rather have a Republican elected to support Bush than have Lieberman elected to at least offer the possibility of compromise?
