And just so you know that kind of post is out there: pardonmyenglish.com read "Bomb the new York Times". He's clearly not joking. But there's no way he represents "many" either. He represents a fringe, just as the folks you (Oral) posted about do.

Heh! Heh! Bring out the moral equivalence straw man every time the left screws up. What a shame leftists find themselves playing that angle so very often because the leftist fringe is so large, so extreme & so vocal. Note that Coulter was not serious when she made her point. Those leftists, of which there were quite a few, were quite serious. And conservatives generally will openly denounce outrageous comments & actions of the fringe element on the right when they cross the line. The same cannot be said of those on the left. You get silence or the lame moral equivalence straw man far more often than a public expression denouncing it.
