They are targeting neighborhoods where hizbollah lives. Best they can do. What would you do chris? I am being serious here. If there is another way, i am all ears. Unfortunately in war, you try your best to destroy the enemy and minimize civilian casualties. I think that you would agree that this is israels policy. 300 dead in lebanon is a relatively low number so they have been somewhat successful.

There are radars that can back-track the trajectory of a rocket, mortar, or artillery projective to the POO (point of origin).

This is commonly done in Iraq when we use counter-battery fire.

But all it can give is a grid coordinate of the POO.

Again, this is why the Israelis are telling the residents of S. Lebanon to get the hell out because they are going to turn it into a "free-fire" zone.
