No, and I wouldn't take Bush at his word if he did the same. This situation doesn't even vaguely resemble that hypothetical.

Of course not. See, that's why I think there's some big misunderstanding going on. No one is saying that there should be no hearing to determine their status.

The issue is about "hearing" and "determination" as contrasted with "trial" and "sentence" for foreigners.

I thought we'd been all over this.
