"What would be a more "constructive" reaction to having a hostile army "rain" rockets on your cities?"

I've read that "rain" hyperbole as well. How many rockets does it take to make a "rain"? Is Israel "raining" precision guided bombs from F-16's onto Lebanon? The rockets are just fire and hope, but the Israelis seem to hit an apartment block EVERY time, with bombs packing MUCH more destructive power!

I don't think the destruction and body count is at all "proportional".

We should have demanded a cease fire after the first tit for tat, but Noooo. We're resupplying Israel with bombs! Keeps Iraq off the front page...

I decided for myself a long time ago that Israel has as much right to exist as any other nation. Therefore, discussions about the "legitimacy" of its origins - to me - is just empty chatter and a waste of time.

So if I wanted a state for ex-Rhodesians setup in say Fiji, you'd come to the same conclusion?
