He would probably then just become a Republican, and lose the next election. The Dems are on the right track here.

Lieberman

I don't think Lieberman would get the support from republicans that he would need to win as an independant. If he had any pull in that party he would have switched.

If Lieberman doesn't win the primary he will run as an independent and get elected anyway.

The only difference will be that he will have even LESS reason to distance himself from Bush and side with the dems.


He needs to be true to himself and run as a GOP.
