It was far more than one instance. After all, why would he keep making the offer if he was not trying to get kicked off?

I just deleted a bunch of links ... too busy to argue each point...

Think about it. I've worked very hard to try and build Suite101 so it is a decent place for people to get and exchange information without being subject to personal attacks. We've all learned, myself particularly, how to do a better job at this in the last 8 years. Heck, nobody was born with these skills and there were no role models since the internet was brand new. Why would I want to encourage someone who posts false information as if he were an expert, calls me bad names (send me an email and I'll send you more), calls people names then later says he didn't know that the word meant, etc?

He got bettter treatment than he deserved. Even so, I offered an olive branch (saying he would be welcome to post in Honey's forum where she can waste her time showing what he posts is often nonsense) and he continues to crap all over me in other forums. That is not the type of person I want helping others on the forum at Suite101 I'm the moderator for.

--Thanks, math. I think you're the only one who ever took the time to verify my claims. The truth is, of course, that I never did call kirk a bad name.

I have asked him several times to give a link to the post, or at least tell everyone what "bad name" I called him, but he continually ignores the request. I wonder why? -:)

Again, anyone can go see for themselves. A while back, after the 3rd or 4th time he said on Yahoo that I had called him "bad names," I checked for myself, just to make sure my memory was accurate. The dates to look at begin in March of 2004. After March 21, I was gone until May 23. My final post was May 31. So it would be very easy to research with those dates.

My notes aren't very good, but it was around 3/21 that kirk threatened to kick me off. I then told him if he wanted me to leave, all he had to do was ask, and I would leave.

Despite what he and honey say, that was the only time that happened before he actually asked me to leave.

In addition to the "word games" incident (which was really just a joke--he posted something which just lent itself to a quip), there was a post in which kirk leveled some unsubstantiated charges against brinker.

All I did was tell him it wasn't really fair to say something like that about a competitor with zero substantiation, or even any evidence. Kirk got really mad about that.

But I personally believe that kirk had been wanting to get rid of me for a long time, because I had been pointing out the bashers' spin for a long time, and I wasn't responding to their insults by leaving, as others had done during my tenure. IOW, the insults didn't work, so that only left one other option.

Again, anyone can go there and see for himself.

SI says I have one post left. I don't know if that is this one, or if I have one more.

I probably have ZERO more! -:) After THIS post, I imagine kirk will put in the word to have me terminated.

"I looked through that thread and couldn't find an instance of his calling you bad names. "

Would saying on my forums that I was not the type of man you should do business with be considered attacking and insulting me?

Would saying I was disgusting be considered a bad name or do you tell your wife or significant other when she comes in with a new hairdo "Dear, that is disgusting!"

I could add others.

The point Honeytres made is 100% correct. He kept pushing me and even admitted he was doing it just to piss me off (or words to that effect. ) At one point he was making stuff up and posting things as facts they were only guesses on his part. When I corrected him and said he'd look less foolish if he stopped... he lost it and out came the insults.

Worst of all, he accused me of making stuff up and posting "unsubstantiated charges against a competitor, without a shred of evidence or any documentation whatsoever." The fact is the charges he complained about were posted by people on the message boards that some of us reposted on the Bob Brinker Testamonial forum. We kept politely pointing him to that forum to read the charges, he'd give some silly answer similar to saying it was a bunch of bashers posting crap about Brinker... Well, duh howdy! Where else would you expect to find documented charges, on Brinker's web site?

Dija was treated far better than he deserved. My only mistake was thinking he was more intelligent and could be reasoned with.
